NEW HAVEN – The NorthWood girls track team opened its season by competing indoors at the New Haven Invitational Saturday.

Senior Kenzie Moren led the way with an impressive second-place performance in the 60-meter dash in a time of 8.03 for the Panthers.

Freshman Reagan Koble was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 10.37. The 4 X 400 relay team of Whitney Wolfe, Kali Parisi, Lexi Parisi and Moren were sixth. The 4 X 800 relay team of Kate Jarvis, Kali Parisi, Lexi Parisi and Reese Barhydt placed eighth.

NorthWood returns to indoor action at Trine University on March 16 in a qualifier for the Hoosier State Relays on March 24 in Bloomington.
