Andrea Mickley, Michaela Arford, and Samantha Kolberg look at books as they decide what to read next for the teen book club at Milford Public Library.

MILFORD — The Milford Public Library has announced its March activities.

Adult programs — Adults 18 years and older will continue having the chance to win prizes through reading. Reading program participants can enter their name into a weekly drawing for each audiobook listened to or book read. It doesn’t matter what book was read as long as you are reading. Sign up at the adult circulation desk or by calling (574) 658-4312. The adult reading program will continue until March 31.

Dr. Seuss story time — Children ages 3 to 6 years will listen to beloved stories, wear a Dr. Seuss hat, and create a cool craft. They will also enjoy great snacks. If you’d like to attend story time, sign up at the children’s circulation desk or call (574) 658-4312. No library card needed.

Frankenstein movie series — Celebrate the 200th birthday of Frankenstein with Milford Public Library this March with cinematic favorites. The library will show a Frankenstein movie every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. in March. Anyone can attend these programs and enjoy free refreshments.

We’re kicking things off with the classic 1930s horror film about Frankenstein on Thursday, March 1. Children and adults will both enjoy an animated adventure about young Frankenstein who brings his dog back to life on Thursday, March 8. The library is showing the 1935 classic film about Frankenstein getting married on March 15. Comic duos Lou Costello and Bud Abbott make a delivery to a house of horrors museum on March 22. Finally, for the last evening March 29, a family friendly animated film about chipmunks meeting Frankenstein will be played. No library card needed to enjoy these movies!

Teen book club — Teens in grades 6 through 12 are welcome to join the teen book club and read “Eleanor & Park” by Rainbow Rowell. We’ll talk about the book, select another for the next month, and talk about other programs for teens. Free refreshments will be served. For more information, call (574) 658-4312.

Lego crew —  Legos are expensive. Save money by enjoying hundreds of Legos at the library on March 10 from 10:30 a.m. to noon with the Lego crew. The Lego crew meets the second Saturday of each month August through April from 10:30 a.m. to noon. No library card needed to participate. For more information, call (574) 658-4312.
