KOSCIUSKO — Law enforcement officers from throughout Kosciusko County recently underwent realistic firearms training hosted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, according to Sheriff William Rocky Goshert.

According to a press release issued by Goshert, members of the sheriff’s department as well as officers from other surrounding agencies participate in the training, which featured interactive exercises designed to mimic real world scenarios. The availability of the reality-based firearms training was facilitated through the sheriff’s department’s insurance provider, according to Goshert.

The training was available during multiple sessions last week, he said.
