
Helen Holderman, 87, passed away at 3:46 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 in Lake City Place, Warsaw.
Mrs. Holderman spent most of her adult life in Koscisuko County and was a longtime resident of Chapman Lake.
She was born to Ralph Thomas and Fladia (Eaton) Thomas on May 19, 1930, in Billings, Mont. Her family eventually moved to the area and she would graduate from Mentone High School.
On April 9, 1950, she was united in marriage to Max Eugene Holderman in Warsaw. They would share 61 happy years together prior to his passing on Dec. 30, 2011.
She enjoyed crafting and crocheting, especially making afghans. She also loved growing flowers and enjoyed attending Church services at Lake City Place, where she lived She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be especially remembered for her cooking and for her kind and friendly disposition.
Those who survive include daughter: Pat (Les) Kleinrichert of Howard, Ohio; two grandchildren: Gail (Jason) Smiley of Orient, Ohio; Kevin (Christine) Kleinrichert of Grand Rapids, Ohio; two great grandchildren: Alyssa and Joshua Kleinrichert, both of Grand Rapids, Ohio; brother, Loyd (Carol Lee) Thomas, Lake Mary, Fla.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Marvel of Mesa, Ariz.; brother-in-law, Howard Hawkins of Clinton, Tenn.; and brother-in-law, Stanley (Aleta) Holderman of Warsaw.
In addition to her husband, Max, those preceding her in passing are two brothers: Floyd Thomas, and Everett (Arlene) Thomas, and sisters-in-law, Imogene Hawkins, Maxine (Roy) Haney and Betty Clingenpeel.
Friends may join the family for a time of visitation at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw from 10 a.m.-noon, Monday, Feb. 26. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Bob Jarboe will begin at noon. Burial will follow in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
