NORTH WEBSTER — Patricia (Berger) and Burdette “Tony” Strombeck, North Webster, are celebrating 70 years of marriage March 2.

They were married March 2, 1948, on an ABC radio show that was heard nationally called “Bride & Groom” in Hollywood, Calif.

Tony was in the milk business his entire adult life, retiring 10 years ago, and served as North Webster Town Marshal for 25 years. Pat has worked for many years in clothing retail sales in North Webster and Warsaw.

They have four children: Lisa Strombeck and Dave Strombeck, both of North Webster; Doug Strombeck, Keystone Heights, Fla.; and Shiela Kriska, Damascus, Ore. They also have seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
