
Norman E. Brown, 89, Warsaw, passed away at 4:02 p.m., Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Warsaw to Roscoe and Nellie (Ellis) Brown.
A lifetime area resident he was formerly employed by the Oasis Club, the Elks Club and Holiday Inn all of Warsaw as bartender. Additionally, he had ten years of service with Dalton Foundry as a Pattern Maker and Tool Room Technician, where he retired. He was a life member of the Warsaw Moose Club. He married Wanda Babcock on Nov. 4, 1949, in Warsaw; she preceded him Feb. 25, 2009.
He is survived by his sons: Michael (and spouse Cheryl) Brown, Timothy (and spouse Cynthia) Brown, both of Warsaw; Patrick (and spouse Jolinda) Brown, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Furthermore, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Whitaker, one grandson and one great grandson.
Visitation is scheduled from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m., in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Don Plank officiating.
