Max Lesley Lotz, 66, Pierceton, passed away at 4:55 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. He was born on Nov. 20, 1951, in Rochester to Max Eugene Lotz and Elizabeth “Betty” (Fleck) Grant.

He worked at Zimmer in orthopedics manufacturing. He was also a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pierceton. 

He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Lotz of Elkhart; granddaughter, Amber Warren, Elkhart; brother, Jeff (spouse Joie), South Whitley; sister, Amy (spouse Bill) Nelson, Melbourne. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Trevis Lotz.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from noon-2 p.m. Father Chuck Herman will officiate.
