WARSAW — Amanda McFarland and Chas Demster, Warsaw, announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Cari and Jim McFarland, Bremen. She is a 2003 graduate of Bremen High School and a 2008 graduate of Bethel College, earning her bachelor’s degree in English writing. She is the adult programming administrator at Warsaw Community Public Library.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Cindy and the late Chuck Demster, Warsaw. He is a 1989 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and a 1993 graduate of Vincennes University, earning his associate’s degree in law enforcement. He is a staff officer at the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department work release program.

The couple plan to marry May 19 at the First United Methodist Church, Warsaw.
