Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

8:12 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, North SR13, near North Grandview Drive. Drivers: Judith C. Winchester, 68, EMS C24 Lane, Warsaw, and Parker H. Bame, 17, EMS B26 Lane, Pierceton. Winchester wanted to make a U-turn and she pulled into a parking lot. As Winchester pulled out onto SR13, she didn’t see Bame’s oncoming vehicle. Winchester pulled into Bame’s path, causing the collision. Damage up to $5,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:26 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 618 South Main Street. Drivers: Randy D. Hickman, 56, East CR 500N, North Webster, and Charles P. Tranter, 48, CR 375E, Syracuse. Hickman was backing out of a parking space and didn’t see Tranter’s vehicle until he hit him. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

10:32 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1695 West Lake Street. Drivers: Austin L. Vining, 19, South CR 700W, Mentone, and Alexandria L. Lewis, 21, South SR19, Akron. Vining was parked at a gas pump at Wilby’s. When Vining began to back up his vehicle, he didn’t see Lewis’ vehicle parked behind him. Damage up to $2,500.

1:09 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, Boydston Street, east of Lake Street. Driver: Steven M. Moran, 58, Boydston Street, Warsaw. Moran was backing out of a driveway when he struck an unoccupied vehicle that was partially parked in the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
