AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley’s seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams both earned wins over Peru, and both of its sixth grade teams collected wins over Culver Tuesday night.
The eighth grade Lady Vikings won 43-27 to move to 3-8 on the season. Brianna Sheetz scored 18 points, Brayden Baney chipped in nine, and Mallory Dukes finished with eight. Katelyn Lowman scored six points in the win.
The seventh grade won, 35-25, to move to 12-2.
Kaydence Mellott put up 19, and Molly Moriarty, Lily Ault, Rily Honeycutt and Corinna Styles each scored four for Valley.
Valley’s sixth grade A team beat Culver 32-17, and its B team won 10-7.
Sidney Nelson paced the Vikings A team with 11 points, ahead of Macy Petersen’s seven, and six apiece from Jessa Schroeder and Chesnee Miller as the team moved to 3-1.
The B team topped its Culver counterparts, 10-7. Erika Henderson scored four, and Bryauna Clodfelter, Ali Vera and Anahi Ramirez-Brito all scored two for Valley.
