Frank Robert Sivicek, 91, Leesburg, passed away at 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at Courtyard Health Care in Goshen. He was born on Aug. 11, 1926, in Chicago, Ill. to Andrew John and Anna Mary (Galcik) Sivicek.

He graduated in 1944 from Kelly High School in Chicago and was a United States Army veteran. He was married on June 4, 1949 in Chicago, Ill. to Dorothy Stanek, who preceded him in on June 13, 1981. He retired from Sunbeam Corp. of Chicago after 33 years as a toolmaker and moved to Leesburg (Barbee Lake) area in August 1988 from Chicago.

He was raised in the Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.

He is survived by two sons: David (Helen) Sivicek, Pierceton; Dan (Diane) Sivicek, Leesburg; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Ann Lazarski, brother, Paul Sivicek, and step brother, Louis Blazek.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500 N, North Webster. A military honors service will follow will at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw.
