Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

11:10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, North Parker Street, north of Lake City Highway. Drivers: Callie A. Adkins, 20, West Main Street, North Manchester, and Barry J. Hyde, 61, Bluebird Drive, Warsaw. Hyde’s vehicle was on North Parker Street waiting on a red light. While waiting behind Hyde’s vehicle, Adkins reached down to adjust her shoes when her foot unintentionally released the brake. Adkins’ vehicle rolled forward and struck Hyde’s vehicle in the rear. Damage up to $2,500.

7:24 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2801 West Old Road 30. Driver: Joshua L. Gillenwater, 30, North SR 5, Pierceton. Gillenwater was backing out of a parking spot at LSC Communications when he struck the rear passenger of an unoccupied, parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

NORTH WEBSTER

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

9:44 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, North SR13, near East CR 500N. Drivers: Scott S. Couch, 44, North Chauncey Street, Columbia City, and Caitlin J. Clevenger, 21, North Koher Road East, Syracuse. Clevenger was stopped at a stop light, and as soon as it turned green, her vehicle was struck in the rear by Couch’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
