Sandra K. “Sandy” Boyer, 78, Syracuse, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the Warsaw Meadows Care Center in Warsaw. She was born on Oct. 22, 1939, in Three Rivers, Mich. to Wendell L. and Melvae Marie (Houser) Drew.

She graduated from high school in Michigan and lived most of her life in Michigan, Wolcottville, Cromwell ad Syracuse areas. She was married on Oct. 15, 1988, in LaGrange to Kenneth J. “Ken” Hammer, who preceded her in March 1998. Then on Dec. 15, 2001, she married Marshall G. “Baldy” Boyer Sr., who preceded her on April 11, 2014. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for the American Legion in Syracuse for 12 years.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Syracuse.

She is survived by a step daughter, Teresa Boyer, Syracuse; two step-sons: Marshall (Mary) Boyer Jr., Milford; Tony (Flora) Boyer, Warsaw; sever step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and son.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St. Syracuseis in charge of arrangements.
