Emogene M. Davis, 101, North Webster, passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Goshen Hospital in Goshen. She was born on Oct. 24, 1916, in Rushville to Glenn Lewis and Edythe Belle (Longfellow) Greenlee.

She graduated in 1934 from Gas City High School and on March 27, 1937, in Fairmount, she married Clark A. Davis, who preceded her on July 28, 1996. She moved to the North Webster area in 1953 from Marion. She was a former telephone operator, worked in North Webster and Syracuse School Cafeteria, and Lyall Electric in North Webster. She and her husband were the former owner and operators of Davis Drive Inn and Joyland Mobile Home Park both in North Webster. 

She was a member of the Church of God and Friends of the Library both in North Webster.

She is survived by two sons: Richard J. (Deborah) Davis, Port Aransas, Texas; Thomas D. (Jane) Davis, North Webster; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Jean Penrod, Columbia City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother- William A. Greenlee.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9,in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will follow in the North Webster Cemetery.
