The Lakeview Middle School 8th grade girls basketball team went 0-2 in the Blackhawk Tournament Saturday.

Lakeview lost a 26-16 final to host Blackhawk in the first game. Tori Jones led the team with eight points. Yasminn Avila had four points and Reggan Meadows and Kiersten Parker each scored two points.

The Lakeview ladies lost to St. Charles 30-23 in their second game. Sydni Purvis led the way with 11 points. Jones scored eight points and Taya Johnson and Hannah Shapiro each had two points.

Lakeview will host Milford Thursday with the 7th grade game at 5 p.m., followed by the 8th grade contest.
