Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:

• 12:25 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 100 block of North Main Street, Leesburg. Officers investigated the theft of a cell phone at the residence of John V. Wood. Value: $900.
• 8:59 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1900 block of North CR 850E, Pierceton. An attempted burglary was reported at the residence of Curtis R. German.
• 2:12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 10300 block of North Grand Boulevard, Syracuse. Officers were dispatched to the location for a fire investigation.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

• 10:07 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 800 block of East Smith Street, Warsaw. Officers were called in reference to possession of a look alike substance by a juvenile at Lakeview Middle School.
