ELKHART – The NorthWood Middle School girls basketball teams topped host Pierre Moran Tuesday night.

The NorthWood 8th grade team posted a 30-8 win.

Kira Gongwer scored nine points to pace the winners, who improve to 6-1.

Alana Lehman had six points and the duo of Lizzie Holderbrant and Jade Levitz each had four points for NorthWood.

The NorthWood 7th grade squad picked up a 33-8 victory.

Makyla Bonee led the winners with eight points. Sidney Martin had a big game with six points and six steals.

The trio of Carly Mast, Macy Lengacher and Ari Topping each scored four points, while Amy Adams had three. Caitlyn Glick and Sophie Grueser each had two points for NorthWood, who improves to 3-2.
