Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

1:25 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, East CR 1100N, west of North CR 375E, Syracuse. Driver: James M. Heath, 27, North CR 475E, Leesburg. Heath lost control of his vehicle on icy roads, causing his vehicle to hit a utility pole. Heath was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Damage up to $10,000.
