WAKARUSA – The NorthWood Middle School 8th grade girls basketball team topped Goshen 24-18 Thursday night.

Kira Gongwer scored 13 points to pace the Panthers, who improve to 4-0 on the season. Emma Martz had eight points for the winners.

NorthWood will host its own Brad Eby Classic on Saturday.

The NorthWood 7th grade girls team dropped a 26-21 final to Goshen.

Sophie Grueser led her team with six points. Sidney Martin scored five points and Ari Topping had four for the 7th grade squad, now 1-1.
