AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley’s wrestling team earned a 48-24 win over Caston Thursday night.

The Vikings benefitted from seven Caston forfeits on the way to the win, and three Valley wrestlers recorded pinfalls. Haylee Brown scored a pinfall in just 1:49 over Vaston’s Zach Deford at 113 pounds, while Luis Castillo pinned Lonnie Nice in 1:18 at 126 pounds. Jordan Owens pinned Aiden Sarver in less than a minute to score the Vikings their last fall at 152 pounds.
