CROMWELL — A mobile home, owned by Arturo Mendoza at 9576 E. Pixie Parkway, Cromwell, in Enchanted Hills, was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon. All occupants of the home at the time were able to escape, however, everything the family owned was lost.

A mobile home to the north, owned by Gail Mast, according to Kosciusko County Assessor records, at 11926 N. Raggedy Ann Road, Cromwell, sustained radiant heat damage to the siding and skirting.

Turkey Creek Fire Territory received the call at 2:11 p.m. of the house fire, with firefighters being advised flames were showing at the back of the home. Cromwell Fire Department was called for a tanker assist and North Webster Fire Department was called for a full assist. Ligonier Fire Department also responded as an automatic response when Cromwell was called.

Firefighters are still at the scene and more details will be provided once the investigation to the cause has been completed.
