Michael Edwin “Mic” Cox, 67, Rochester, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at his residence.

On August 21, 1950, Mic was born in Logansport to Edwin and Dorothy Coffman Cox.

Mic and Janet E. Hildebrand were married on Nov. 27, 1976, at the First Baptist Church of Rochester. They shared 41 years of life’s adventures.

Cox is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet; his mother, Dorothy Cox, Logansport; two daughters, Cathy Cummins and husband John, North Manchester, and Andi Price and husband Jason, Rochester; a son, Alan Schwarte, Rochester; 11 grandchildren, Alexander Schwarte, Dakota Schwarte, Isaac Miller, Ian Miller, Isabella Miller, Josh Price, Aubrey Price, Jaelynn Price, Samantha Cummins, Joe Cummins, Shaun Cummins; two sisters: Barb Miller and husband Kenneth, Rochester, and  Karen Stevens and husband Mike, Lucerne; sister-in-law Joyce Ginther and husband Jerry, Rochester, brother-in-law Jay Hildebrand, Kalamazoo, Mich.; mother-in-law Judie Hildebrand, LaBelle, Fla; step-brother Tim Dawson and wife Julie, Elkhart, step-sister Vickie Leventhal, LaBelle, Fla.; uncle Joe Cox, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Cox in death were his father and father-in-law, Dallas Hildebrand

Pastor Terry Baldwin  will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.

Good Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
