WARSAW — This past semester 43 students from the Human Development and Wellness program were visited by a guest speaker from Destiny Rescue, a non-profit organization which works with developing countries that rescue children from the sexual slavery industry. This topic and organization inspired students to want to do more and through inspiration, the class decided to raise $1,500 to rescue a child.

Students began their journey to enrich the lives of others in October, and through the work of all 43 students raised a total of $1,500. On Wednesday, Dec. 20, Destiny Rescue visited the class again to collect the money and congratulate the class on reaching their goals toward this selfless act.
