William Ray “Bill” Francis, 65, North Webster, passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Dec. 14, 2017 at the Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. 

He was born on Aug. 31, 1952 in Hammond to Charles AND Alice Francis.

He graduated from Morton High School in Hammond and was married on Jan. 20, 1978 in Hammond to Dixie K. Hobbs, who survives. He moved to the Kosciusko County area 12 years ago from Hammond and was the owner and operator of the Jot’em Down Store in Warsaw (Barbee) for 12 years. 

He was survived by his wife, Dixie and his brother, John Francis, Highland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Darlene Carmen, three brothers: Richard, David, and Charles Francis.

Cremation will take place and a private family service will take place at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
