John Wayne “Chewy” Crull, 61, Rochester, passed away at 2:39 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at his residence.

On April 24, 1956, John was born to Clinton “Bud” and Faithe Darling Bird Trull.

He is survived by his wife Deb Crull; two step sons: Joshua Ogle and companion Beth Kneifel, Aaron Ogle and companion Jessie Border; four grandchildren: Kyna Kneifel, Kynedi Ogle, Eian Border, Emersyn Ogle; a sister, Angel Crull; a brother, Nathan Crull, all of Rochester; nieces and nephews: Tiffany Abair and husband John, Ashley Pena and husband Fabian, Tyler Rogers; great nieces and nephews: Anthony Prater, Coraline Abair, Addison Abair, Aiden Pena, Elizabeth Pena; and five Shih Tzus: Sassy, Baxter, Harley, Scruffy, Jessie.

Preceding John in death are his parents; maternal grandparents John and Jennie Bird; paternal grandparents Wilford and Sarah Crull; uncle Richard Crull; aunt Lois Crull; and Shih Tzu, Captain Jack.

A celebration of the life of John “Chewy” Crull will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St. Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, in the funeral home.
