Linda Louise Angus, 70, Prudenville, Mich., passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at the Laurels-Mount Pleasant.

Linda was born Sept. 10, 1947, in Detroit, the daughter of Gilbert and Mary Doprweke Ward. She worked on the auto assembly line for 25 years. Linda married Donald R. Angus in June 2009.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening and fishing.

Linda is survived by her husband, Donald Angus, Prudenville; her children: Michael (Kathy) Wharton, Wakarusa; James Wharton, Leesburg; Jennifer (Chris) Dorgan, Big Rapids, Mich.; Mary Wharton, Gas City; Amanda (Joe) Yocum, Mentone; and Daniel Prater, Dumas, Texas; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings Doug (Jackie) Wildman, Gaylord, Mich., and Jackie (John) Symons, Bellaire, Mich.

Linda was preceded in death by siblings Mary Burdue and Mike Ward.

A memorial service will be at Clark Family Funeral Chapel, 114 S. Bradley St., Mount Pleasant, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, with Benjamen Evers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel from 1 p.m. Saturday until the service.
