KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through midnight, Saturday, Dec. 9, for Kosciusko, Elkhart and Fulton counties.

Lake effect snow showers are expected, with slippery road conditions and reductions to visibility. Total snow accumulations of 2 – 5 inches are expected.

Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow. There will likely be breaks in the snow intensity and coverage today.
