Tim L. Snyder — UPDATED

Tim L. Snyder, 75, passed away at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

He was born on June 1, 1942 in Warsaw to Gerald Boyd and Velma (Rhoades) Snyder. Spending most of his lifetime in the Warsaw and Claypool areas, Tim graduated from Warsaw High School in 1960.

On March 28, 1964, he and Lynda L. Harman were joined in marriage in Claypool. They would be blessed to share 53 years together. 

Tim had worked at Explorer Van in the factory. 

He enjoyed traveling and camping and especially enjoyed time spent at Jellystone Park. As well as working on crafts, Tim also enjoyed cooking and was well known for his homemade macaroni and cheese. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lynda, two children: daughter, Lisa Greene, and son, Mark (Debbie) Snyder all of Warsaw; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Tim was preceded in death by his son: Todd Allen Snyder, two brothers: Donnie Snyder and Jerry Snyder, a step brother, Jim Elliott; sister, Carla Mae Hoover, step sister, Lois Lehman; his parents: Gerald Boyd Snyder and Velma Shoemaker; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Lucille Harman; brothers-in-law: Donald Harman and Ronald Harman, sister-in-law, Sue Frush; step sister, Lois Lehman and step mother, Blanche Snyder.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation and sharing of memories from 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Dec. 9 in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow, beginning at noon and will be officiated by Pastor Jerry Winegarden of Shepherd by The Lakes Lutheran Church, Syracuse.  Interment will take place in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
