Recipe Swap

Dec. 11 | 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. | ADULT

Bring in your favorite homemade candy to share. Enjoy tasting others so you can take home a stack of new recipes. No registration necessary.

Genealogy Club

Dec. 12 | 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. | ADULT

Work on your genealogy and discover more about your family tree. The library will have genealogical forms available for you and will help you learn how to use them. No registration is necessary.

Pushing the Limits

Dec. 12, 2017 | 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. | TEENS and ADULT

Join the discussion of the book “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba. “Pushing the Limits” combines fiction and nonfiction books, compelling human-interest, author videos and facilitated discussions to explore how humans push their own limits every day and the ways science is part of that effort. Register by Dec. 5. The first 10 people to register get a free copy of the book.

Wiggle Giggle: Christmas

Dec. 13 | 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. | ALL AGES

Filled with music and dancing, the program is designed to keep little ones moving continuously. Registration is requested but not required. Earn an entry for each program attended Wednesdays, Dec. 6 through Dec. 20, to win a Christmas prize bundle.

Mah Jongg

Dec. 13 | 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. | ADULT

The library is hosting its regular Mah Jongg event on Wednesdays throughout the month of December. No experience or registration is necessary. Come to learn the game and have fun.

Pinterest Night

Dec. 13 | 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. | ADULT

Make a faux etched glass latter at this month’s “Pinterest Night.” The cost is $5 per project and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Register by Dec. 6 by calling (574) 773-7919 or by visiting nappaneelibrary.org.
