Phillip R. Milliser, Sr., 80, Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at his home.

Phillip was born on March 31, 1937 in Plymouth to Clifford E. and Bertha (Sutherlin) Milliser. On Sept. 23, 1957 he married the former Judith K. Bowen, she preceded him in passing on May 4, 2004. Phillip worked for IRECO before US Granules where he was employed for 39 years. Phillip was a member of the American Legion Post in Lakeville and the Moose Lodge #741 in Plymouth. Phillip enjoyed talking on his CB Radio and was a Harley Davidson motorcycle fan. He also played the guitar in a band.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Marcia Firestone of Plymouth; his son, Phillip and Julie Milliser of Plymouth; four sisters, Jane and Larry Stiles of Cornersville, Tenn., June Mechling of Plymouth, Phyllis Stiles of Plymouth, Paula Stewart of Plymouth; brother, Paul Milliser of Plymouth; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; Phillip is preceded in passing by his parents, wife, daughter, Tracie Cassler, three brothers, Don, Dean and Clifford Milliser.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is caring for the Milliser family. There will be no services at this time.
