Carol Dianne Leamon, 70, passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on Oct. 14,1947 to Ezra and Irene (Weirick) Dunithan in Topeka.

On July 24, 1971, she married Arthur Lee “Butch” Leamon at the Topeka Mennonite Church in Topeka.

Carol spent her life working as an administrative assistant and loved to read.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur “Butch” Leamon of Ligonier; a son, Chris (fiancé, Marie) Leamon of Avilla; a daughter in law, Tonya Leamon of Topeka; two grandchildren, Charlie and Mya at home; and a brother, Larry (Janet) Dunithan of Shipshewana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Irene; a sister, Sandra Chupp; and her son, Shawn Leamon in 2015.

A graveside service will be held in Carol’s honor on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 4 p.m. at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell. Pastor Jean Ness will officiate.
