Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

9:46 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, Rivercrest Drive and Meadow Lark Boulevard, Warsaw. Driver: Maurice Willsey, 71, 9th Street, Phoenix Ariz. Willsey backed his vehicle into a parked vehicle. Damages up to $5,000. 

4:01 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, Fox Farm Road and Sellers Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Charles Coffelt. Coffelt’s vehicle ran off the road and rolled, coming to rest on its top. Both driver and passenger refused medical treatment. Coffelt admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the accident. Damages up to $25,000. 

6:18 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, South CR 850W and SR 14, Akron. Driver: Kristi Sanchez, 45, CR 1275S Akron. Sanchez’s vehicle struck a deer. Damages up to $5,000. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidens:

8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, US 30 and East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Judy Gill, 57, Burke Road, South Bend,  Raymond Commers, 64, Pleasant Hills, La Porte, and Bryn Malagon, 36, Boulder Drive, Warsaw. Both Gill and Commers thought they had the green light and both their vehicles collided in the intersection. Debris from the collision struck Malagon’s vehicle. Gill and two of her passengers were transported for injuries. Damages up to $25,000. 

1:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 1107 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. An unknown vehicle struck an unoccupied Dodge Journey and left the seen. Damages up to $2,500. 

3:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2211 E. Center St., Warsaw. Drivers: Tatyana Washington, 20, Hendricks Street, Warsaw, and Sandra McClellan, 55, Fourth Street, Winona Lake. The two vehicles collided in the parking lot. Damages up to $2,500
