AKRON — Sixteen Tippecanoe Valley FFA members attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis the last week of October.

Four members competed in the National Farm and Agriculture Business contest earning a silver emblem ranking. Those members were Jack Utter, Sarah Tucker, Dylan Wood and Hannah Jansma. They earned the right to compete because they won the state contest this past summer. All four were also ranked silver emblem individually.

Other members were able to take a tour of Fastenal Fastener Company Warehouse and Distributing Post, as well as a tour of Good’s Candy Shop in Anderson.

Members went to sessions and were able to attend the FFA Career Show and Expo.
