Mentone

Officers with the Mentone Police Department investigated the following accident:

9:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, Main Street, east of Broadway Street, Mentone. Driver: Brenda J. Kreis, 65, South Main Street, Claypool. According to the accident report, Kreis intentionally backed out of a parking spot on the north side of Main Street and drove into a vehicle that was parked on the south side of Main Street. Kreis rammed the driver’s side of the other vehicle twice with her vehicle, pushing the parked vehicle up onto the sidewalk and into a street sign. Damage up to $25,000.
