Louise Hackworth

Louise Hackworth, 86, Raymore, Missouri and formerly of Mentone, Indiana, passed at 3:37 pm, Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home of Belton, Missouri.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1930 in Beaver Dam to Andrew Jackson and Audrey Irene (Lackey) Konkle.

She married on Sept. 1, 1953 in Warsaw to Gordon Hackworth, who preceded her on Nov. 12, 2011.

She had been the Classified Ads Manager for the Warsaw Times Union.

She was a Mentone High School graduate and attended the First Baptist Church of Mentone. She was very active in the Kosciusko County Republican Party, serving as committeeman. She also was a member of the Palestine Busy Bees.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra and husband Mark Hunter, Port Huron, Mich.; a son, Brett and wife Sue Hackworth, Raymore, MO; grandchildren, Shane and Heather Hunter, Lauren (Hackworth) Hitchens and Trevor Hackworth; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Eliot, and Finlee Hunter and Gabby Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Audrey Irene Konkle, a sister, Doris Summers and a brother, Rev. Earl Konkle.

Time and Date of Services: 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.
