WARSAW — Where do women in today’s workforce turn to find inspiration, support and empowerment when faced with the unique challenges confronting them on a daily basis? A few years ago, a group of women from several of the orthopedic companies located in Warsaw gathered to discuss that very question. After several months of research and deliberation, that core group of women founded WISE, Inc. – a local organization dedicated to the professional development of women from all industries in the community.

On Nov. 7, WISE will be celebrating the completion of its fourth year at their Annual Recognition Dinner.

The dinner will be held at the Taharaa Room at Noa Noa with an informal networking opportunity starting at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting officially beginning at 6 p.m. Cost for the event is $25 and includes dinner, non-alcoholic drinks and entrance to the program.

The evening features Marlene Mulero-Betances, who will be sharing her story as a woman who has struggled to establish herself as a leader in the orthopedic industry. Also during the evening, the current WISE board of directors and board of advisors will be introduced, participants in this year’s WISE mentorship program will share their experiences. There will be a time to review the highlights of the year as well as a preview of what to look forward to in 2018. Sponsors will be recognized for their contributions to the organization.
