Mabel A. Kirkpatrick, 102, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017.

She was currently a resident at Millers Merry Manor of Culver. Mabel was born April 16, 1915 to Hermann and Elizabeth Broeker, who have preceded her in death.

On Oct. 30, 1948 she married Wesley Kirkpatrick of Deckerville, Mich. He also preceded her in death. Mabel had three brothers: Clarence, Charles, and Raymond Broeker; and one sister: Helen Brockman.  They all preceded her in death.

Mabel enjoyed the great outdoors and learned to water ski when she was 50 years old and skied
until she was 72.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, with funeral services to begin at 11 a.m. at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver.  Burial will follow at Burr Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Millers Merry manor Activity Fund or to Marshall County Hospice.
