
WARSAW — Friday, Oct. 20, Warsaw Community Public Library offered a free class where participants were taught the basics of how to use the Tinkercad program to create models for 3D printing.
Tinkercad is a popular online 3D design and printing program used to create or modify designs by selecting, dragging and placing basic shapes and then combining and manipulating those shapes to create 3D models.
Users are able to search through thousands of public models to find designs to tinker with and modify.
Tinkercad can be used in your web browser without downloading any software. The program is described as easy to use, with built-in lessons to help beginners.
