A semi rear-ended a Warsaw Community School’s bus carrying 18 students Thursday morning on SR 15.

CLAYPOOL — Around 10 a.m., today, Oct. 19, emergency responders were called to an accident involving two semis and a school bus on SR 15 near Hill Lake Road in Claypool.

A grain truck rear-ended a Warsaw Community School’s bus that was carrying 18 students. A second truck then rear-ended the first. The school sent a secondary school bus to pick up the students who were transported to the school cafeteria accompanied by a Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department officer and looked over by the school nurse. No injuries were found among the students or drivers.

The northbound lanes had been shutdown due to the accident; emergency responders were directing traffic.

Clay Township Fire Department and Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department were on scene. No more information is available at this time.
