NORTH WEBSTER — Calling all genealogists. North Webster Community Public Library is hosting an all day genealogy session on Monday, Oct 9. Family historians are encouraged to bring their laptop computers to the library that day and share their genealogy website subscriptions and other resources with fellow genealogists. By sharing resources and research ideas, participants might discover new information to add to their family histories.
The library’s Local History and Genealogy Center is sponsoring the event and will also make available its computers with free access to Ancestry.com and other genealogy websites. The center’s collection of genealogy resources, historic records and family and local histories will be available along with a large selection of instructional books. If you love genealogy, share your passion and knowledge with others. Doors open at 10 a.m. Come for a while or stay the whole day. Bring snacks to share, too.
