WARSAW — Just after 2 p.m. today, Oct. 6, emergency crews were dispatched to a house fire at 5703 S. Lake Shore Drive E., Warsaw, near Sellers Lake.

When initial fire crews arrived, the found the single-story house fully engulfed. The fire was listed as under control at 2:30 p.m. but responders could do little to save the home.

Pierceton Fire, Sidney Fire and Winona Lake Fire responded to the scene.

While it was not reported whether or not the homeowner was home at the start of the fire, no injuries were reported.
