LIGONIER – In a sectional preview, West Noble flexed its muscles with a 3-0 volleyball win Tuesday night.

The two teams are scheduled to meet in the first game of the NorthWood Sectional next week. West Noble made the opening statement, taking the match 25-14, 25-13, 25-14.

Hannah Gaerte had a decent night for the Warriors, recording 12 digs and five kills. Peyton Rookstool added seven digs and Hannah-Marie Lamle tossed in three kills.

West Noble moves to 19-8 with the win, Wawasee drops to 5-25 overall.

In the JV contest, West Noble got the edge over Wawasee 25-8, 25-23.

Molly Jones led the Warriors (11-13) with four kills, Madison Mottern added a trio of kills. Tess Fancil and Ella Williamson combined on 11 digs, and Kiaundra Olson and Ashley Vazquez combined for four aces.

Wawasee will conclude its regular season Thursday at home against NorthWood.
