WARSAW — As part of the October Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Altrusa International of Warsaw is coordinating the 8th annual Bingo for Beaman Home fundraiser on Oct. 19, at the Vitale Events Building, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw.  All proceeds benefit Beaman Home’s programs and services which has served this community’s domestic violence victims and their dependent children for over 30 years.

Tickets for the event are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.  Tickets may be purchased at the Beaman Home campus at 603 Parker St., Warsaw.  Ticket price includes bingo cards, a meal and a chance to win a door prize.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 6:30. The event has sold out the past two years.

This annual service project is part of Altrusa’s on-going support for the Beaman Home Emergency Shelter and Outreach Center they founded in 1985.  Members are proud that many local businesses and individuals continue to support the event each year.  Prizes are also provided by Chicago Bears, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts and South Bend Cubs among many others.
