Charles Leroy Hall, 75, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 15, 2017 at his residence with his son holding onto him.  His family was with him all week.

Charles was born on Sept. 1, 1942 in Wabash, Ind.to Ernest and Willetta Hall also of Wabash. His parents preceded him death along with sister Inez and brother-in-law Jim Higdon.

Charles joined the United States Air Force to travel the world and was stationed at Kincheloe Air Force Base in Michigan where he met his wife Delores (Payment) that was his world. They married on Nov. 23, 1963, the day after the assignation of President Kennedy.  Charles joined the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked for the Muskegon County Road Commission until his move back to Indiana and was employed as a door greeter at WalMart in Huntington, Ind.

Chuck was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church of Wabash, Ind. and was a member of the Knights of Columbus No 02957, Wabash, Ind., as a fourth degree assembly 241.

Along with his wife he is survived by one son, Duane (Fran) of El Monte, California; five daughters, Lisa (Chris) Nelson, Vermontville, Michigan, Deborah (Mike) Bogue, New Baltimore, Michigan, Margo (Tony) Slagle, Van Buren, Indiana, Roxanne (Ed) Stange, Turner Michigan, Kathy (Bob) Bryant of Muskegon, Michigan; 14 grandchildren, one step grandson, eight great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. He is survived by sisters, Sue Worden, Peru, Indiana, Connie McLeod, South Carolina; Bonnie Hall, New York and Special buddy Bill (Hazel) Kuczmera of Muskegon, Michigan.

Calling hour will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017 at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, 207 North Cass Street, Wabash, Ind. 46992 with burial following at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion, Ind. Father Sextus Don will be the officiant.

Preferred memorials are to the Wabash Parkview Home Healthcare Hospice, Wabash County Military Honor Guard, Local VFW and American Legion.
