
Judith D. “Judy” (Sidner) Hopkins, 59, Kimmell, formerly of Sturgis, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at her residence. She was born on Dec. 17, 1957 in Sturgis, Mich. to Clark and Caddy (Smith) Sidner. On June 21, 2015 she married her companion and best friend, Charles R. Hopkins.
Judy was an incredibly hard worker and was an employee of Parker Hannifin in Syracuse. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and try new restaurants. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles R. Hopkins, of Kimmell; four children: Heather Tice of Ligonier; Jason Tice of Columbia City; Tara Tice of Goshen; and Timmy (Morgan) Tice of Ligonier; three adorable grandchildren; two brothers, John (Theresa) Sidner and Joel (Nancy) Sidner both of Sturgis, Mich.; two sisters, JoAnn Stigale and Lisa Webster, both of Florida. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends and family may call from 1- 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12 and 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at Yeager Funeral Home – 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.
A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at Yeager Funeral Home. Celebrant Larry Baker will officiate.
