Vonetta “Bonnie” Keller, 85, Argos, passed away after a brief illness, at 11:55 a.m., Aug. 25, 2017, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Bonnie was born the daughter of Von Andrews and Hazel Sharp Andrews, Feb. 25, 1932 at Bourbon (Marshall Co.). As a life long resident and a graduate of Green Township School, she worked many years at Hart Schaffner and Marx in Rochester as a seamstress where she retired. In her younger years she could be found on her tractor helping her father on the farm and later she spent time scrap booking.
On May 18, 1956, after being introduced to Allen, she became his bride; he survives along with her son Roger and wife Terry Keller of Argos. She was further blessed with her loving grandchildren: Becky Miller, Bryan Keller, Ben Keller, Aric Shufelt, Amy (Ken) Rose, Miranda (Chris) Singleton and Eric (Kimberly) Gildner; great-grandchildren: Ashton and Braden Miller, Braxton Keller, Kody, Kyle and Wade Rose and Skyler and Chase Singleton.
Also Bonnie is survived by her sisters: Clova Bollhoeffer of California, Joy (Scotch) Carr of Bristol and Donna Nichole of Dandridge, Tenn.
Proceeding in death were her parents and two sisters: Marcille Sickmiller and Lucille Schaffer.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29 at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 S. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
