Jerry Lee Knight Jr. 52, Rochester, passed away at 5:35 p.m.. Tuesday August 22, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on Oct. 27, 1964 in Rochester, the son of Jerry L. and Barbara (Shireman) Knight Sr. On Nov. 15, 2009 in Warsaw, he married Cassandra Redinger and she survives.

Jerry had been a welder and a member of ABATE. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars and his motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Knight, Rochester; children, Mickey and wife Brandi Knight, Rochester; Ashley Gundrum and fiance’ Justin Baird, Fulton; Kiegan Willis, Plymouth; Skylee Knight, Knox; Jerry Knight III, Knox; Isaiah Knight, Knox; Wyatt Knight, Rochester; Stormy Knight, Rochester; grandchildren, Aireian Knight, Peru; Natalyn Knight, Rochester; Ella Knight, Rochester; Tyler Wolfe, Rochester; Riley Wolfe, Rochester; Camden Cunningham, Fulton; Kayvan Record, Fulton; Kyrsta Record, Fulton; Kooper Baird, Fulton; great grandchildren, Alexis Cunningham and Addison Cunningham, both of Rochester; Shiloh Knight, Knox; sisters, Tammy Knight, Talma; Pam Arnett, Rochester; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 6:15 p.m. Monday Aug. 28 at Citizens Cemetery, Rochester; Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Monday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jerry L. Knight Jr. Benefit Ride, which is scheduled for Sept. 3. starting at Putt’s Bar & Grill, 128 E. 9th Street, Rochester
