Tippecanoe Valley’s boys soccer team lost a narrow 3-2 decision at Maconaquah Monday.

Tippecanoe Valley tennis earned a 3-2 victory over John Glenn Monday.

Seth Hoffman battled back from a first-set tiebreaker loss to trump Gabe Weiss, 6-7(6), 6-3, 6-2 at one singles, and Eric Wright defeated Alex Ross in three sets at two singles, 6-2, 5-7, 6-0, as the Vikings edged out the Falcons. Dakota Parker and Payton Mills combined for a 6-4, 6-1 win over Trace Jones and Matt Moore in Valley’s other win at one doubles.

Alex Kruk was narrowly beaten by Garrett Feldman at three singles, 4-6, 7-6(1), 6-2, and Connor Frentzel and Jeremy Landis suffered a 6-2, 6-1 loss to Anthony Kaser and Brandon Goble.

Volleyball
Tippy Valley volleyball lost in three games, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.

Shayleigh Shriver and Sophie Bussard finished with eight kills apiece to lead the Lady Vikings attack, and Bussard also recorded a team co-high seven digs alongside Olivia Trippiedi and Sarah Myers. Trippiedi served up a pair of aces, and Emily Peterson passed out 19 assists.

Valley’s JV won in three games, meanwhile, 21-25, 25-18, 15-11.
