MILFORD — Kendra Ostrander, 17, Milford, complained of pain to the head after her Dodge Avenger was struck by a Dodge Ram Monday morning, Aug. 21. She was taken, by her parents, for medical treatment.

The accident occurred at 10:51 a.m. on CR 1300N (Syracuse-Milford Road) and Camelot Trail/Drive. According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Jeffrey Zimmerman, 46, Ligonier, was westbound in a Dodge Ram truck and was turning south onto Camelot Trail/Drive. He told police he did not see Ostrander’s Dodge Avenger, turning into the path of the vehicle.

Damage to both vehicles was estimated up to $10,000.

Milford Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Syracuse Police responded to the scene.
