INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Gen Con has set a new attendance record for the ninth straight year.

Nearly 208,000 visited the Convention Center, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and Lucas Oil Stadium during the four day event last weekend.

For the first time in the event’s 50-year history, it sold out before the event began.

Gen Con returns to Indianapolis August 2nd-5th of 2018.
